HOW TO STREAM

HolyBattle runs as a single OBS Browser Source. No bot install, no chat bot permissions — the overlay reads your public Twitch chat directly.

Sign in with Twitch

Generate your overlay URL

Open the Streamer Control Room. Confirm your channel name, pick a mode (Party rotates all four games) and a theme, then copy the overlay URL.

Add it to OBS

In OBS: + Add → Browser. Paste the URL. Set width 1920, height 1080. Tick Refresh browser when scene becomes active. Position it wherever you want on screen (top-third works well so chat is visible underneath).

Choose your flow: manual or auto

Manual (default): rounds wait for you. Use the on-screen controls or hotkeys to reveal answers and load the next question — perfect for chatting between rounds.

Auto: rounds advance on a timer with a short break. Set ?auto=1 in the URL or toggle Auto from the controls.

Hotkeys (interact with the overlay window or open the URL in a browser tab on a 2nd monitor):

• Space / N — reveal answer · load next when revealed

• S — skip · A — toggle auto · H — hide controls (won't show on stream)

Tell chat the commands

Drop a quick reminder in chat or set a !commands message:
